‘Instant Rejuvenation’: Popular Cosmetic Procedures for OMS Practices

Demand for cosmetic facial surgery has increased over the last 20 years among U.S. consumers. Oral and maxillofacial training programs are now including facial cosmetic surgery procedures and principles among their curriculum and scope of training. However, during economic downturns, patients are reluctant to pursue expensive surgical treatment options for facial rejuvenation. Instead, there has been a rise in seeking no-downtime and inexpensive options that have little to no recovery. The focus of this 60-minute surgical webinar will be on facial cosmetic procedures that are considered non-invasive with immediate patient results and gratification with discussions on botulinum toxins, fillers, non-ablative laser skin treatments and a skin health program. The webinar also will focus on the establishment and marketing of a cosmetic practice for the contemporary oral and maxillofacial surgeon.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe the various products available and the techniques/skills required to perform non-surgical rejuvenation.
  2. Identify the anatomic basis and principles of non-surgical facial rejuvenation using minimally invasive treatments and techniques.
  3.  Review the patient skills and marketing needed to achieve a successful implementation of adding non-surgical facial cosmetic procedures.

Cancellation Policy: Registrants will receive a full refund up until the day before the event. No refund will be given for cancellation on the day of the event.
