Telehealth in the OMS Practice
Includes a Live Event on 07/14/2020 at 1:00 PM (CDT)
Telehealth in the OMS Practice
Telehealth, including teledentistry and telemedicine, involves caring for patients remotely rather than during an in-person visit. The services may take many forms depending on the individual situation.
This is a valuable method for caring for patients. Correct coding, supporting documentation and correct billing elements are very important to understand but can be very confusing. This webinar will discuss the different types of service as well as documentation and coding requirements, including modifiers and place of service codes.
At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Describe telemedicine, telehealth and teledentistry.
- Explain the reporting of individual HCPCS Level I and II codes.
- Cite the documentation requirements to support each service.
- Review the claims reporting data specifics (e.g., modifier(s), place of service codes).
Cancellation Policy: Registrants will receive a full refund up until the day before the event. No refund will be given for cancellation on the day of the event.
