Anesthesia Coding for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons - On Demand Access

Gain a better understanding of anesthesia coding for oral and maxillofacial surgery by attending a 90-minute webinar designed for both OMSs and coding professionals. The webinar will present relevant oral and maxillofacial surgery coding scenarios related to specific inquiries received by AAOMS. Participants will be led through the different types of anesthesia, learn about CDT and CPT start and stop times, and hear common questions and answers on how to report services for a separate anesthesia provider. The webinar also will address the differences between moderate sedation and general anesthesia, current payer policies with examples of payer requirements and tips to help navigate and understand credentialing.
