Coding Insights: Tools to Achieve Coding Compliance and Optimal Reimbursement - On Demand Bundle
OMSs and their coding staff will learn the basic elements of CDT, CPT and ICD-10-CM coding systems and discover the relationship between coding and third-party reimbursement. Participants will be given the necessary tools to achieve coding compliance and attain optimal reimbursement while preventing fraud and abuse. This 90-minute webinar introduces important insurance policy language as well as examples of the most common coding errors by OMSs that invariably trigger audits or poor reimbursement through lack of documentation or misuse of modifiers.

At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Examine code sets, including history, structure and coding guidelines.
- Achieve compliance through appropriate documentation and identify common coding errors.
- Analyze OMS-specific procedures and describe the relationship between coding and third-party reimbursement.
