OMS Practice Valuation Methodologies and Uses

This 90-minute webinar will deepen attendees’ knowledge of the practice valuation process and methodologies. Understanding how practices are valued and how valuation applies to practice management will help participants enhance their practice’s value, reinforce their risk planning and incorporate this value into their transition strategy. Other uses of a proper practice valuation – including capital structure, debt management, and disruption and estate planning – also will be covered.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  1. Discuss the three most common practice valuation approaches.
  2. Examine how management decisions affect a practice’s value.
  3. Describe the use of practice valuations outside of transitions.
  4. Implement value protection strategies in a practice.
  5. Evaluate how the value of a practice affects the transition strategy.
