Strengthening Referring Relationships for Orthognathic Surgery - On Demand Access

Highly effective communication with referring offices and seamless interoffice workflow are paramount in building a thriving surgical practice. Practice management consultants often focus on such systems for developing successful implant and dentoalveolar practices. However, those surgeons who aim to make orthognathic surgery a significant part of their repertoire are either left to create their own protocols or are dissuaded from growing their orthognathic practice altogether. This 60-minute webinar will illustrate concepts and practices immediately applicable to any surgeon who wants to cultivate a successful orthognathic surgery practice.br>

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe the importance of communicating with referring colleagues using the correct orthodontic vernacular.
  2. Create office-based systems that consistently exceed the expectations of patients and their orthodontists.
  3. Identify deteriorating situations when surgical outcomes are not as planned and appropriate measures to prevent a loss of confidence from the referring doctor.
